Pure Love Campaign
Having worked with several marginalised communities, Mr. Keshav Suri launched #PureLove campaign. The campaign provides platform to people from all walks of life, in particular, women, acid attack survivors, people with disabilities and the LGBTQIA+ community, to come forth, share their experiences, seek emotional support and find economic opportunities for themselves. The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group is committed towards empowerment of women. The group has 40 percent of women representation at board level while 50 percent at the senior management level.
The group has also signed The Valuable 500, putting disability inclusion on our business leadership agenda. Through #PureLove campaign, we are able to create a safe space where everyone can bring their authentic self to work. The campaign not only created awareness but also is continuously helping people get employable skills, job opportunities and enabling people to live their lives with dignity.
Representation: 40% representation of women at the Board level and 50% at Corporate level.
Commitment: Commitment to increase the women employees rate to 25%.
Events: Events to celebrate womanhood are being celebrated at the workspace to encourage and motivate women at work.
Empowering LGBTQIA+ Community
Scholarship for LGBTQ+ Folks: Diploma course in Food Production or Bakery at The Lalit Suri Hospitality School.
Skilling Programs: Supported skilling programs like TRANSaction, acting workshops, Kicking Gender Boundaries & Queer Youth Leadership Course in collaboration with KSF.
Community Events: Job fairs, workshops, open mics, conferences, film festivals, pageants, art exhibitions & pride marches across the country.
Kitty Su: Popularizing drag shows in India . Kitty Su became the safe haven for the LGBTQIA+ community every Thursday with PureLove nights.
Hosting Role Models: Like Peppermint, chef Chris Trapani, Saleem Kidwai, Onir, Dutee Chand.
Empowering People with Disabilities
Disability on the Board Agenda: The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group has signed The Valuable 500 commitment at the board level to eradicate exclusion of disabled people in business.
Employment Opportunities: Job opportunities to many PwD’s. Country’s first DJ on a wheel chair, DJ Amish got his first opportunity to play at Kitty Su.
Public Events: Hosted meetings with Inclov ( a dating site for PwD). Hosted Equal Opportunity awards by NIPMAN Foundation to celebrate achievers with a disability.
